All of these plans include unlimited talk and text and nationwide coverage in the United States (excluding Alaska). Most of these plans include free international calling to 80+ countries and high-speed data.

Your first question to consider: what are your phone plan needs? Do you want a phone plan for the United States designed for visiting or residing? This is important because different plans are tailored to each of these needs in mind, and we want you to get the best value.

Traveling

Our Short-Term Plan, Smartphone Plan, Simple Plus Plan, and Simple Plan cater to different types of travelers. These factors include your trip duration and how much data you plan to use. 

The first factor to consider is the duration of your trip. If your trip is short (45 days or less), we recommend the Short-Term Plan. If you have a high data usage, this plan especially suits you. You can find yourself using a high amount of data if you are a business traveler, often stream movies or shows, have high hotspot usage, or have low Wi-Fi access. The Short-Term Plan offers unlimited data, including 5 to 30GB of high-speed data. Free international calling is available to Canada, Mexico, and Japan. The Short-Term Plan includes plans lasting 5 to 45 days, so choose based on how long your short-term visit is.

Otherwise, if your trip is long (more than 45 days), the following options remain: the Smartphone Plan, Simple Plus Plan, and Simple Plan. From here, we recommend making your decision based on your planned data usage. These plans are tailored towards travelers with average, low, and no data usage respectively. We provide free international calling to 80+ countries for these long-term plans.

If you plan to use an average amount of data on your trip, we recommend the Smartphone Plan. This plan is perfect if you stream movies or shows through Wi-Fi and use data for the basics. Basic data use includes web browsing, social media, and GPS navigation. Most of your Wi-Fi comes from the place you are spending your nights at, such as a hotel or a relative’s home. This plan offers unlimited data, including 3 to 20GB of high-speed data. You can choose your plan duration, ranging from 30 to 360 days.

If you expect to have low data usage, we recommend the Simple Plus Plan. With low data usage, you are connected to Wi-Fi often in most places or use most of your data on group and picture text messaging (MMS). Messaging to an individual (SMS) uses the cellular network instead of data, but MMS requires data. This plan is also perfect for snowbirds, especially Canadians who travel for months to warmer regions of the United States during the winter. This plan comes with a total of 500MB to 8GB of high-speed data. Data is limited to the amount stated on the plan and does not renew every month. For example, our 90 day plan offers 2GB of data in total, which means that data is limited to 2GB for 90 days. If you use up 2GB by the 30th day on this plan, you will have no data left for the remaining 60 days. Nevertheless, this is plenty enough when you use a low amount of data. If you want more data though, don’t worry! We have data add-ons available when needed. We offer plan durations here from 30 days to a year.

If you intend to use no data, we recommend the Simple Plan. This plan is designed for simple phone users who do not need data but still want to keep in touch with their friends and family through calling and text messaging. When using the Simple Plan, you have access to unlimited talk and text. Plan durations range from 30 days to a year.

Residing

Our Smartphone Plans, Simple Plus Plans, and Simple Plans are perfect for many residents in the United States. For your convenience, you have the option to auto-renew these plans. If you are an American looking to save money on phone plans, we have great solutions. These plans include free international calling to 80+ countries.

The Smartphone Plan is a splendid option if you stream movies or shows over Wi-Fi and focus on using your data for the basics. Basic data use includes web browsing, social media, and GPS navigation. These basic data habits are typically done outside of your home. This plan offers unlimited data, including 3 to 20GB of high-speed data. Plans can be renewed every 30 to 360 days.
